Traveling To Barbados But Would Like To See The Other Islands

by Jaimie
(Ireland)

We are considering traveling to Barbados with our senior hockey team for the Banks Hockey Festival...

After researching the various islands of the Caribbean we recognized that although the islands are so closely link each one is so different in geography, history and culture.

This tour therefore presents a wonderful opportunity for our players to take in more of the islands of the Caribbean while there.

We would certainly love to cruise some of the islands after the festival is over. So I would like to know if there are options available for us to take the team cruising through these picturesque islands?

Most persons are amazed that in such a small area the diversity among the Caribbean islands is so vast... as a matter of fact in less than an hour you can move from a flat coral island like Barbados to the lush volcanic hills of St Vincent or Grenada.

So anyone traveling to Barbados and looking for a vacation with a difference should grasp the opportunity to see the other islands.

There is so much to see for example the Grenadines comprise more than 30 spectacular little islands each one surrounded by spectacular beaches and vibrant coral reefs.

But to answer your question... yes there are a number of options available to take you to these beautiful islands.

There are tours companies offering a number of charters one company in particular have an exclusive 1 day sailing excursion to the Grenadines on board a luxury catamaran.

This excursion takes in the islands of Mustique, Bequia, Palm Island, Petite St. Vincent, Tobago Cays and Canouan Island.
