Traditional Barbados Church Wedding

The Historic St. John Parish Church
Having a traditional church wedding has always been my dream... but not any ordinary church wedding I wanted it on a beautiful sun drench island with nice white sand beaches.
A friend of ours had visited Barbados on a holiday and strongly recommended the island as the perfect destination. And the St. John Parish Church as the perfect venue...
She even sent us photos of this beautiful church to help us in the decision making process... from the moment we saw the pictures, the architectural beauty of the church was enough to convince us.
We research and book our hotel accommodation on the Internet... pack our bags and headed to Barbados.
When we arrived at the Grantley Adams International Airport it was mid afternoon, we ask the taxi driver to take us to the St. John Parish Church before going to our hotel.
What we saw absolutely blew us away... the church wasn’t only an architectural masterpiece; it commanded a spectacular view of the island’s picturesque East coast.
Four days later my sweetheart and I exchanged our vows in this beautiful historic church... Our romantic island wedding was proof that dreams do come true.
And to add to this we absolutely love the island... the wonderful weather, the friendly people and the laid back relaxed atmosphere made us felt so very welcome.
The island is beautiful beyond compare... but what made this Barbados church the perfect location for our beautiful island wedding.
Was the planning... it was as easy as saying I do. Added to this there were a number of professional Bajan wedding planners to assist us through all the planning details.
