Silver Sands Resort Barbados

Silver Sands Resort Barbados is a premier beachfront resort located on Barbados south coast, about 2.5 miles from the Grantley Adams International Airport.

It is situated about 7 minutes drive to The Oistins Friday Night Fish Fry, 12 minutes from St. Lawrence Gap with all its nightlife and 25 minutes from Bridgetown.

This 130 room Resort is situated amidst 12 acres of beautifully landscape grounds on one of the south coast spectacular white sand beaches. 

The perfect place to relaxed and enjoy the world of windsurfing and kitesurfing at it best

Its amenities include a large fresh water swimming pool as well as a large children's pool, an international windsurfing center, access to Barbados' only public Champion Golf Course and two hard surface tennis courts for registered guest.

Guest Rooms at Silver Sands Resort Barbados

There are 130 guest units at the Silver Sands Resort of these there are 89 Suites and Studios and 41 rooms. Of these units 18 Deluxe Studios and 6 Deluxe Suites are in the new block which fronts the beautiful beach.

The hotel rooms face the main pool area and have sea views while the other studios have either ocean or garden views.

There are also 20 one-bedroom suites with tropical garden views. 

Rooms also have airconditioning, telephone, radio, 12 channel satellite television, private bathroom, balcony or patio.

Laptop connections are available in the DeLuxe beachfront studios and suites. The resort has Maytag washers and dryers located in the resort for your convenience.

Tokens and soap powder may be purchased at the Mini Mart. Dry cleaning and laundry services are also available. The Studios and Suites all have kitchen facilities.

Dining at Silver Sands Resort Barbados

There are a couple of dining options at the Silver Sands Resort in Barbados the Seafans Restaurant and the Seahorse Grill. The Seafans restarant offers guest a romantic atmosphere overlooking the spctacular ocean.

The Seafans Restaurant serves breakfast daily and offers table d'hote and a la carte dining in the evening..
 

The Seahorse Grill Restaurant is open daily for lunch and serves snacks in the evening. The Grill also offers soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers and pizza.

In addition to these two restaurants there is the Seahorse Bar which serves rum punches, exotic tropical drinks and the popular Barbados Banks Beer. This bar open daily from 9:00 a.m. to midnight.
