Almond Beach Village Barbados

My boss had vacation in Barbados a couple years earlier and recommended Almond Beach Village and the island as the ideal vacation get-a-way.
So we Google the island and came across some travel guides that showed pictures of the hotel tucked away in a lush tropical setting right on the edge of a spectacular white sand beach.
So taking into account his infatuation with the island and the beautiful pictures on the internet our decision was quite easy...
We book our vacationand a couple weeks later pack our bags and travel to Barbados.
It was a bright sunny day when we arrived at the Grantley Adams International Airport...
It was awesome! This was our first visit and I new then that it wasn’t going to be the last...
We could not believe how lovely the island was. It was so quiet and peaceful and everyone was so friendly... actually they were some of the friendliest people I had ever met.
We took a taxi with a very friendly driver to take us to the hotel which is in the north of the island... as we drove along the narrow winding roads it was amazing.
The island resembled a huge tropical garden it was so lush with green fields and flowers everywhere...
We arrived at the hotel and there were no disappointments the pristine tropical setting and the spectacular turquoise waters were even more beautiful than what we saw on the internet.
And the staff at the Almond Beach were friendly very professional and accommodating it couldn’t have been better... added to this we had a really nice room.
I’ll have to say Almond Beach Village Barbados is the best vacation spot ever... the beach is fabulous, the water crystal clear and the
Barbados food
absolutely delicious.
Oh we love taking those quite walks though the historic town of the north Speightstown... and eating in the friendly little restaurant called Fisherman’s Pub.
Wish we could have stayed forever.
